Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film model, actress and filmmaker. Apart from her beautiful elegance, her continued successes in the competitive film industry proves her skills as a performer. The career of her was launched as a model for fashion in 1970, her rise quickly to the top of the heap. She studied theatre and acting in the early part of the decade, before starring on stage shows in Los Angeles, and other regions of California. Rose fought Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout after just three minutes of the round One. Rose was also awarded Fighter Of The Night and set a record as it was the first time women was ever a participant in a tournament with a major promoter all over the world. Following this victory Namajunas was able to have a number of more successful fights including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC following these victories .
