Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film model, actress and filmmaker. Apart from her beautiful elegance, her continued successes in the competitive film industry proves her skills as a performer. The career of her was launched as a model for fashion in 1970, her rise quickly to the top of the heap. She studied theatre and acting in the early part of the decade, before starring on stage shows in Los Angeles, and other regions of California. Russo first made her television debut in ABCs Sable in the role of Eden Kendell, in 1987. Her debut film, Major League was released just two years after. Russo played Tom Berengers 'love interest. Some critics who were initially skeptical by her acting abilities, were eventually won over by her continuous work. In Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak she was hailed by critics due to the way she performed against Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman and others. However by her own admission she's never really been a passionate in acting. The year 2005 was the time she took for a hiatus that was self-imposed. In the movie Thor it was her return to her acting. Rose Namajunas, one of the UFC's most popular female athletes, is an accomplished athlete. Her journey began in the amateur ranks, participating in different regional promotions. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her in and then she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her success in and out of the Octagon has made her famous since she became a member of the UFC. Namajunas was born on the 29th of June 1992 within Milwaukee Wisconsin. The fighter was born into an ethnically diverse Lithuanian family. Growing up, Rose was involved in activities like basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships was her first professional fight. At 18, she had already won two bouts via submission. Dana White took notice of the fact that she had won, and was signed to UFC's strawweight category at the end of December 2014, when she was barely 22. Through Rose her career, she's gone through periods of both extremes and lows, but every time coming out on top. Rose fought Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout after just three minutes of the round One. Rose was also awarded Fighter Of The Night and set a record as it was the first time women was ever a participant in a tournament with a major promoter all over the world. Following this victory Namajunas was able to have a number of more successful fights including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC following these victories .
